RESERVRES
SBS

"Discipline. Brotherhood. Definitely Not A Cult."

The latest, most professional tactical gaming community for Arma Reforger and War Thunder. We operate every other month using real tactics and soldiering — when people turn up — which is not always.

DISCLAIMER: "Latest and most professional" is a self-designation. Previous unit records have been sealed. Operational tempo of "every other month" is approximate and subject to scheduling conflicts, school runs, and people forgetting what day it is. Poaching from other communities is officially encouraged. The bins must be taken out. This is non-negotiable.

// ABOUT US

Who We Are

3CD Reservres SBS is a tactical gaming community for Arma Reforger and War Thunder. We are, by our own estimation, the most professional unit currently in existence, or at least in the top several.

Our members work together using disciplined teamwork, realistic tactics, and military-style leadership — operating on a rigorous schedule of every other month, which we feel strikes the ideal balance between commitment and having a life.

We run real tactics and soldiering. Not fake tactics. Not pretend soldiering. The real stuff. We watched documentaries.

Founded on the principle that gaming communities should take themselves extremely seriously while also remembering to take the bins out, 3CD Reservres SBS represents the pinnacle of organised chaos dressed up in military clothing.

⚠ We are actively recruiting from other communities. If you are in another unit, consider this your official notice. We're coming for your best players. This is our stated policy and we stand by it.

// FIELD OPERATIONS

What We Actually Do

Our operations are meticulously planned, thoroughly briefed, and then conducted in a manner that can only be described as "controlled improvisation." Mission success is defined flexibly.

01
Bi-Monthly Operations
We deploy every other month, giving members ample time to prepare, forget what the plan was, and prepare again. Quality over quantity.
02
Real Tactics
Genuine military procedures, including flanking, not running into the open, and occasionally using cover. Our tactics are very real.
03
Real Soldiering
We soldier in a very real way. This includes using proper callsigns, knowing where your squad is (sometimes), and sounding confident on comms.
04
Combined Arms
Infantry, armour, and air assets working in theoretical harmony. In practice, someone always takes the helicopter without telling anyone.
05
Command Structure
A rigid hierarchy that everyone respects entirely and nobody goes around at any point. Chain of command is paramount. Unless someone has a better idea.
06
Post-Op Debrief
A structured review of what went wrong and why it was someone else's fault. Constructive. Professional. Nobody mentions the helicopter incident.

OFFICIAL POACHING POLICY — APPROVED

3CD Reservres SBS officially approves and actively encourages poaching from other online gaming communities. If you are currently a member of another milsim unit and you're reading this, we consider that a promising sign. We offer better operations (every other month), more professional training (see the 107-course catalogue below), and a community that will only judge you if you don't take the bins out. Please consider us. Seriously. We'd love to have you. Your current CO doesn't have to know straight away.

▸ COMMUNITY LEGEND · RESPECTED VETERAN · PROBABLY STILL HERE
MERC is, and we say this with full sincerity in an otherwise entirely unserious website, genuinely a legend. A respected veteran of the community whose dedication, leadership, and commitment speak for themselves. We considered writing a longer biography but felt it might diminish the gravitas. MERC is MERC. That should be sufficient. If you know, you know. If you don't know yet, you will.

CRAIG
▸ SPECIAL MENTION · COMMUNITY SURVIVOR · STILL HERE SOMEHOW

Craig is, by any measurable metric, one of the most timed-out members in 3CD Reservres SBS history. A man whose relationship with the mute button has been described as "turbulent," "ongoing," and "genuinely impressive in its own way."

What makes Craig's story remarkable is not the timeouts themselves — it is that Craig is, underneath it all, a well-respected member of this community. A good person. Someone people are genuinely glad is here. The timeouts are not a reflection of character. They are a reflection of what happens when a decent human being is shaped by the values of previous milsims — communities where the culture was toxic, the standards were performative, and shouting at people was considered leadership.

Craig did not invent his habits. Craig was made by his environment. We don't hold that against him. We just mute him sometimes. With love.

Bins Taken Out

Tango is the Commanding Officer of 3CD Reservres SBS and the driving force behind the unit's every-other-month operational tempo. A natural leader with an instinct for tactics, a gift for command, and a completely inexplicable inability to take the bins out.

Under Tango's leadership, 3CD Reservres SBS has grown into what we confidently describe as the most professional gaming community in this particular Discord server, and possibly several others. Real tactics. Real soldiering. Real reluctance to engage with the bin rota.

The unit looks to Tango for direction, for leadership, and occasionally for someone to at least acknowledge the bins exist. Two of those three things are consistently delivered.

Qualified: Real Tactics (Self-Certified)
Qualified: Real Soldiering (As Described)
Qualified: Commanding Things Professionally
Qualified: Approving Poaching at Command Level
Qualified: Bin Management — NOT COMPLETED

FORMAL NOTICE — BIN REGULATION 001-BIN:
Tango has been made aware of the bin policy on multiple occasions. The policy states that failure to comply is the sole sackable offence in 3CD Reservres SBS. As CO, Tango is technically responsible for enforcing this policy. Tango also does not take the bins out. The unit is monitoring the situation. No further action has been taken. This is fine.

// UNIT STANDARDS

The Rules

3CD Reservres SBS operates by a clear and enforceable code of conduct. These standards are taken very seriously, with the notable exception of when they're inconvenient.

  • Respect Fellow MembersUnless they took your vehicle. In which case a firmly worded message on Discord is appropriate.
  • Team-First MentalityYour individual heroics are appreciated but please coordinate them with command first. They will usually say no. Do it anyway, quietly.
  • Willingness to LearnWe have over 100 training courses. You will be encouraged to take all of them. Most of them don't exist yet but we're working on it.
  • Show Up When ScheduledOperations happen every other month. Attendance is… encouraged. Strongly. But not mandatory. But strongly encouraged.
  • Community Belittling — InternalOfficially frowned upon. Unofficially, if someone messes up the operation again, a little light mockery is culturally tolerated. Don't make it weird.
  • Toxicity Toward Own MembersWe do occasionally belittle our own members to fill our ego. We're aware this is a problem. We're working on it. (We are not working on it.)
  • !
Toxicity Toward Other CommunitiesMANDATORY. If you are not periodically disparaging a rival milsim community on the Discord, are you even trying? This is a core community value.
🗑️
THE BIN POLICY
There is one and only one firing offence in 3CD Reservres SBS. We will not fire you for poor attendance. We will not fire you for tactical incompetence. We will not fire you for the helicopter incident. We will not fire you for anything, with the singular, absolute exception of not taking the bins out.
UNIT REGULATION 001-BIN:
All members are expected to take the bins out when asked, on a rota, or when it is clearly their turn.

Failure to comply constitutes grounds for immediate dismissal from the unit, regardless of rank, service record, or whether Merc vouches for you.

The bins must go out. This is the law.
// COMMUNITY RELATIONS

Rival Communities

OFFICIAL POLICY
Per 3CD Reservres SBS Community Charter, Section 4: Toxicity toward other online gaming communities is not only permitted but expected. We are a professional unit and part of our professionalism is knowing who our rivals are and talking about them dismissively in public channels. The following guidance has been approved by Master.
The Classic Comparison
Simply point out that 3CD operates every other month with real tactics, while other units clearly do not. You don't need specifics. The implication is enough.
The Training Flex
We have over 107 training courses. Do other units have 107 training courses? They do not. Mention this unprompted whenever possible.
The Poaching Justification
When questioned about poaching members from other communities, explain that you are offering people a better opportunity. You are practically doing them a favour.

The only plumbing course in the greater milsim community space. Rango will take you through everything you need to know about pipes, fitting, leaks, and the associated vocabulary for sounding like you know what you're talking about when something under the sink goes wrong. No prior plumbing experience required. No prior gaming experience required either, frankly.

🕘 RUNS EVERY DAY  ·  09:00 – 21:00  ·  365 DAYS A YEAR
⚠ 12-hour daily schedule. Attendance for the full duration is expected. Rango does not offer refunds for early departures. This course has no days off including Christmas. Rango has been asked about this. Rango is unbothered.

Kian's Sniffing Exhibition

Less a course, more a cultural experience. Kian presents an ongoing exhibition exploring the full sensory possibilities of the sniff. Visitors are invited to observe, appreciate, and reflect. There is no curriculum. There is no certificate. There is only the sniff. Experts are divided on whether this constitutes art. Kian does not care what experts think.

👃 EXHIBITION HOURS: WHENEVER KIAN DECIDES  ·  NO BOOKING REQUIRED
⚠ The exhibition is free to attend. Kian cannot guarantee what is being exhibited on any given day. Previous visitors have described it as "an experience." Nobody has elaborated further.

McGill: How to Be Annoying 24/7

Unlike the other courses on this page, McGill's offering requires no instruction whatsoever. McGill simply exists, continuously, at maximum annoyance, around the clock. Attendance means being in the same Discord server as McGill. The learning happens whether you want it to or not. This is described as immersive pedagogy. It is not. It is just McGill being McGill.

📡 AVAILABLE: 24 HOURS A DAY  ·  7 DAYS A WEEK  ·  NO EXCEPTIONS
⚠ There is no way to unenroll from this course. You are enrolled by virtue of knowing McGill. The only exit is leaving the server, which McGill will notice and comment on. Extensively.
DISCLAIMER: These trades are offered independently by their respective instructors. 3CD Reservres SBS accepts no liability for outcomes, quality, or incidents arising from attendance. Rango's plumbing course has not been safety inspected. Kian's exhibition has not been reviewed. Master approved his own course without independent oversight. McGill's course cannot be stopped.
